Akron at Eastern Michigan—Akron has not been able to catch much of a break in the 2011 season starting 1-3 with losses to Ohio State, Cincinnati, and Temple. Their only win is over I-AA VMI. The passing offense is putting up just over 185 yards while the rushing offense is averaging 125 yards per game. The Zips are being outscored by 25.5 points per game at this point in the season. Eastern Michigan is 2-2 after 4 games with both losses coming to Big Ten squads (Michigan and Penn State). The rushing attack is in the top 20 statistically with 234.3 yards per game. The passing game is on the other end being the 4th worst passing offense in I-A football. The Eagles are being outscored by approximately 4 points per game. EMU is the better team and should be able to run the ball at will versus the Zips defense. EMU 31-13.
