Cincinnati versus Miami (OH) Preview

Cincinnati at Miami (OH)—Cincy has been known in the past to be a strong passing team that uses the pass to set up the run. The year’s version still throws the ball around but has the 16th ranked rushing attack with 239.3 yards on the ground per game. The Bearcats also have the 4th ranked scoring offense with 49.8 points per game. Their 3-1 record is only blemished by a loss to SEC team Tennessee. Miami (OH) is having a hard time to start the 2011 season after it seemed that every break went their way in the 2010 season. The RedHawks have the 39th ranked passing offense but also the 118th ranked rushing offense only putting up 66.3 yards on the ground per game. The RedHawks are giving up 10.3 more points than they are scoring per game but that stat may be slightly inflated by an ambitious out of conference schedule. This Cincy offense will be too much for Miami (OH) to overcome. Cincinnati 35-21.
