Navy versus Rutgers Preview
2:00 PM ET Navy at Rutgers—The Midshipmen (2-3) are reeling in a 3 game losing streak after a 2-0 start with losses to South Carolina, Air Force and Southern Miss. The defense has gotten progressively worse each game culminating with giving up 63 points to Southern Miss. The running game has been statistically #1 in the country all season and should probably end the season at that spot. Rutgers (4-1, 2-0) have gotten better in every game this season and following a loss to North Carolina are on a 3 game winning streak including a 34-10 conference win over Pitt. The rushing game is a concern with no running back on the roster having a 100 yard performance in the 2011 season. The passing game has been split between sophomore Chas Dodd and freshman Gary Nova with neither quarterback stepping up and taking the starting job. This should be a good one and if Navy can put up some points, they should pull out the win.
