MWC denies CBSSports report about merger falling apart

According to Las Vegas Review Journal's Ron Kantowski who spoke with the UNLV president, the CBSSports report that the merger probably will not happen is not true and the MWC is still planning for the merger with Conference USA.
The final answer will not be until June but due to the delays in making the preparations, many are questioning the feasibility of such a large conference and how it could affect the landscape of college football for the non-big 6 conference schools.
