According to 247, Florida Atlantic is the 68th ranked recruiting class in the nation and the second ranked Conference USA program, just behind Louisiana Tech. The Owls have been able to use work mostly out of their own back yard with a majority of their commits coming from the state of Florida.

The Owls are coming off of a terrible season saw them fall to 3-9 on the season. Defense was a huge issuse as 10 of the 12 opponents scored 30 or more points versus the porous Owl defense. Between incoming recruits and several redshirted players, there should be significant optimism for improvement on both sides of the ball.
