Overall Breakdown: While Troy won the Sun Belt for the 5th consecutive year and dominated an overmatched Ohio in a bowl game, 2010 was not up to the Trojan standard. The offense was up to its old tricks with over 450 yards per game and 34.1 points per game. The defense was not impressive with a 30.2 points per game allowed. The Trojans should improve on the 8-5 record of 2010 and look to be the favorites of the Sun Belt yet again in 2011. Clemson can honestly say that they had the 2010 national champs on the ropes and probably should have beaten Cam Newton and company. The high hopes from that game were extinguished with losing the following two games and never really looking like the team they should have been. The Tigers look to show that the 6-7 season of 2010 was a fluke and that they are really the upper echelon of the ACC. This could be an entertaining matchup with the Trojans having a realistic chance to pull the upset.
