Temple versus Maryland Preview

Temple at Maryland—Temple is a couple of plays from going into this matchup with a 3-0 record and attention of the national media. The defense has been great through three weeks giving up only 8 points per game good for 4th in the country. The offense was good in the first 2 weeks but could not muster enough points to pull the major upset. Junior Bernard Pierce is having a great start to the season with 347 yards and 7 touchdowns in three games. Maryland nearly pulled off an epic comeback in week 2 before falling to #18 West Virginia 37-31. After a win over a good Miami team in week one, the Terrapins have to like the way their season has started. The defense must step its game up after giving up 24 and 31 points in the first two weeks of the season. Maryland may have too much offense for Temple but it will be close. Maryland 31-27.
