Toledo at Syracuse—Toledo is disappointed by getting overwhelmed by Boise State after playing pretty evenly until the last 2 minutes of the 1st half. Adding that to an almost win over Ohio State in week 2, the state of mind of the players could be in question. The Rockets have a realistic chance at winning this game and are just as talented as the Orange but the question becomes can they put the last 2 weeks out of their minds and focus on the game at hand. Syracuse lost their 1st real test of the season with a 38-17 loss to USC. The Orange are in the lower third of FBS teams in points scored and points allowed average. If Toledo can get a early hot start and take a 10-0 or so lead, the Rockets can and should win this game. Toledo 24-17.
Toledo got screwed. Still a top 10 non AQ. Even if they're 1-3. 6 Starting Defensive players injured kills the chances of really breaking through to the next level tho.
