East Carolina versus Memphis Preview
7:00 PM ET East Carolina at Memphis—East Carolina (1-4, 1-1) has the same defensive problems of 2010 with newly developed offensive problems this season. Senior quarterback Dominique Davis has thrown 10 interceptions on the season compared with only 9 touchdowns. His touchdown ratio of 2010 was nearly 2 touchdowns to every interception. The rushing attack has been horrendous with only one 100 yard rushing performance this season. Memphis (1-5, 0-2) is the perfect cure for those offensive woes. The Tigers only win of the season was a 28-6 win over I-AA Austin Peay. The Tigers are being outscored by 23 points per game and have only been within one score at the end of 1 loss. East Carolina should get the offense clicking and win easily over the overmatched Memphis Tigers.
