Western Michigan versus Illinois Preview

Western Michigan at #24 Illinois—Western Michigan is coming into this matchup off of a 44-14 win over rival Central Michigan. The passing offense is putting up 241 yards per game while the rushing offense us putting up 132 yards per game. The Broncos are +12 per game in scoring differential winning by 31 in week 2 and 30 in week 3. The team has really improved since the opening game versus Michigan and could be the surprise of the MAC this year. Illinois has started the season 3-0 including a 17-14 win over #22 Arizona State in which the defense forced 3 turnovers picking up the slack for an offense that was struggling. Illinois should have the talent to pull off the win but Western Michigan could put some real fear into the Illini. Illinois 35-24.
