ULM versus Troy Preview

7:00 PM ET Louisiana-Monroe at Troy—Monroe (1-4, 0-1) is coming into this game on a 3 game losing streak and only a win over Grambling to show for the season. Quarterback Kolton Browning has not looked like the passer that threw for over 200 yards in 9 games as a freshman. Browning has yet to throw for 200 in a game and threw 2 costly interceptions in the 24-19 loss to Arkansas State last week. Troy looked like just another Sun Belt team last week in their loss to ULL. Sophomore quarterback Corey Robinson has been his normal self with over 300 yards passing in the last 4 games and 258 in the other game. The Trojans are relying on Robinson to win games on his arm alone with at least 38 pass attempts in every game this season culminating with a 63 pass effort versus Arkansas. Last season’s matchup was the worst game of Robinson’s freshman season only completing 42% of his passes for 167 yards in the 28-14 loss to Monroe. Troy will be out for revenge and should be able to win this revenge game with relative ease.
