Western Michigan versus Northern Illinois Preview

3:30 PM ET Western Michigan at Northern Illinois—Western Michigan (4-2, 2-0) may be one of the biggest surprises of the MAC conference this season. National leading receiver, senior Jordan White has 67 catches for 824 yards with at least 12 catches in 5 of the six games this season. He has 25 catches for 333 yards and 4 touchdowns in conference games on the year. White has 39 more catches than the 2nd leading receiver on the team. Northern Illinois (3-3, 1-1) has been one of the biggest disappointments of the 2011 MAC season. Led by quarterback Chandler Harnish, the offense has been just as good as ever and was only shut down once, by #4 Wisconsin. The defense has been dreadful, giving up 25 or more points in 5 of the 6 games in the season. With the passing attack of WMU coming to town, it will be hard to keep the Broncos under the 25 point line. If WMU comes in and plays like they have since week 2, this could be a high scoring but not close game with the Broncos pulling away in the 2nd half.
