Army, a brief look

Army (3-9)--After going to their first bowl game in several years in 2010, the Black Knights of Army fell back to earth with a thud going 3-9 last season. The biggest positive of the season was that Army yet again led the nation in rushing with just over 345 yards on the ground per game. On the negative side, they were the worst passing team in the country with 50.4 yards per game in the air. 7 of their losses were by double digits including 3 blowout losses to MAC teams. Top 2 leading rushers quarterback Trent Steeleman and running back Raymond Maples both return for 2012 and should be instrumental in bringing Army back to the form of 2010 this fall.
