Central Michigan University, a brief look

Central Michigan University (3-9,2-6)--The Chippewas had a big problem in 2011 that led to their demise. They could not put points on the board in bunches. CMU had the 25th ranked passing game in the country in 2011 going for just over 274 yards per game but the 92nd best rushing game in the country (115.8 yard per game). CMU could move the ball passing from 20 to 20 but when they had to get tough rushing yards to keep drives alive, they were unsuccessful. The defense was brutal giving up over 33 points per game pretty much allowing opponents to dictate the game. The Chippewas must have a running back step up and become the go to guy in 2012 so that CMU can have more ball control and pull out some of the games that got away from them in the second half in 2011.
