Eastern Michigan University, a brief look
Eastern Michigan University (6-6, 4-4)--The Eagles finished with a .500 record and were competitive in all but 3 games in 2011. This is remarkable considering that EMU were in the bottom 16 in scoring with just over 21 points per game. The Eagles relied on their running game that was top 15 with over 218 yards per game. The passing game was a mess more resembling the passing game of a triple option squad than the usual MAC squad. The Eagles must shore up that awful passing game and become more balanced offensively to get to the next level in 2012 to go to their 1st bowl game since 1987.
