Houston, a brief look

Houston (12-1, 8-1)—Houston came 1 win away from a perfect season and a shot at a BCS bowl game in 2011. Houston had the 1st ranked passing offense in the nation with just over 450 yards passing per game. The Cougars also were the highest scoring team in the country with just over 49 points scored per game. Houston was surprisingly adept at allowing points. The 22.4 points per game allowed was in the top 35 in the country. Things will be rough in 2012 as the Cougars lose quarterback Case Keenum who threw for 19,217 yards and 155 touchdowns in his four year career at Houston.
