Overall Breakdown: New Hampshire had a solid 2010 and played fairly strong against Pitt before the score got out of hand at the end losing 38-16. Toledo didn’t play any I-AA schools in 2010 and had a very successful season making it to the Little Ceasers Bowl losing to Florida International. Toledo has too much firepower for New Hampshire and this one might not be too close. Expect a 35-7 type of score with Toledo starting their 2011 season with a nice easy win.

  1. Won't be that easy I'm affraid. I expect a close game with UNH. Probably a 10 point game or so.

  2. My reasoning for the lopsided score is the graduation of the 2010 starting QB, top WR, and 5 of the top 7 returning tacklers including the top 4 DBs who accounted for 13 INT in 2010. UNH does have Matt Evans back at LB and he accounted for 156 tackles, 15 TFL, 3 FF, 2 FR, and 2 INT. UNH may play Toledo tough but a completely new secondary in the opening game of the season will be hard to overcome with Eric Page and Adonis Thomas lining up for the Toledo offense. Just my two cents though.

  3. I am not personally familiar with Toledo football but looking at everytihng with them on the offensive side, the only question mark is the QB position. The numbers for Owens looked better in fewer games but it has them as co-number 1 on the depth chart. The defense will give up some points just like in 2010 but that offense has the chance to be great in 2011.

  4. UNH is a FCS school, not DII.
