The Midshipmen have also gotten good production from the passing game with 73 yards per game forcing the safeties to respect the passing game and not play in the box. The defense has been strong giving up 15.5 points per game and forcing their opponents to play catch up. South Carolina have played two of the wildest games of 2011 to start their season beat East Carolina 56-37 and beating Georgia 45-42 in a game that featured a fake punt for a touchdown, an interception return for a touchdown, a fumble recovery for a touchdown and a 65 yard fumble recovery that led to a touchdown. The Gamecocks are 4th in the country with 50.5 points scored per game and 110th in the nation giving up 39.5 points per game. The Gamecocks come into this matchup as the #10 ranked team in the country being one of three teams from the SEC to be in the top 10. Overall , the Midshipmen haven’t seen talent at the level of South Carolina and will have trouble staying with the Gamecocks. South Carolina 37-24.

  1. That should have been a 24, not a 34, it is fixed now. I do not mind good conversation and differing opinions but do not come on here with name calling and nothing to back you accusations. It is disappointing to see people resort to name calling because someone doesnt see things the way they see them.

  2. I only have only a couple of rules for commenting. No profanity and no name calling, that is classless and not needed for good discussion.
