MAC spring practices, part 2

Miami (OH)
Football is back in the air at Miami University.
The RedHawks are in their second week of spring practice, completing their fourth session (and second in pads) on Monday at Yager Stadium.
“It’s way better than running in winter conditioning,” admitted quarterback Zac Dysert, who will be a redshirt senior in the fall. “It’s great to be back out here with everybody. You want to get to the fun stuff, and when it finally comes, it’s just a feeling you can’t really describe.”


Northern Illinois
The Northern Illinois University football team marked the halfway point of its 2012 Spring Practice with a spirited scrimmage under ideal conditions at Huskie Stadium Saturday afternoon.

"The defensive line got some good penetration on our quarterback at times. I was happy, for the most part, with the tackling," Doeren said. "Overall, it was a pretty good day. The offense started fast. I was happy with that because that was a big emphasis for us."

Ohio
The Ohio University football team took part in its sixth practice of spring ball on Wednesday at Peden Stadium.
In 2011, Ohio secondary recorded 15 interceptions and limited opponents to just fewer than 200 yards passing in five games a year ago.
