Recruiting: 9/2/12 to 9/12/12


Commitments from 9/2/12 to 9/12/12 for the Non-AQ teams: 


9/2/12:
Jonathan Parker RB St. Louis, MO Christian Brothers College High 5'10" 180--Tulsa

Jonathan Parker is a 5-10, 180 pound running back out of St. Louis, Missouri who is unranked according to the Rivals website. Parker is timed at 4.40 in the 40 yards dash and has a bench press max of 210 pounds with a vertical jump of 32 inches. Parker has decent size but unless he puts on more strength, he may have to more to wide receiver or cornerback rather than running back.

Daquan Mack RB Fairless Hills, PA Pennsbury 6'1" 245--UMASS
Kenneth Olugbode ATH San Jose, CA Bellarmine Prep 6'0" 180 2 stars--San Jose State

Daquan Mack is a 6-1, 245 pound running back out of Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania who chose Massachusetts with interest from Connecticut, Temple and Villanova. Mack is unranked according to the Rivals website but does look to be a solid fullback candidate.

Kenneth Olugbode is a 6-0, 180 pound athlete out of San Jose, California who chose San Jose State while gaining interest from Colorado State, Nevada, and UCLA. Olugbode is a 2-star rated player according to the Rivals website and could be difficult for the Spartans to hold on to if he has a strong senior season. Olugbode does seem to want to stay in town with the hometown Spartans.

Tim McAuliffe OL Lemont, IL Lemont 6'2" 270--BGSU

Tim McAuliffe is a 6-2, 270 pound offensive lineman out of Lemont, Illinois who chose Bowling Green over offers from Ball State, North Dakota, Toledo, Western Kentucky, and Western Michigan. McAuliffe is unranked according to the Rivals website but does have some upside as a center playing for the Falcons. Expect McAuliffe to be at least a 2-star by the end of the season.

9/7/12:
Aaron Baltazar RB Chula Vista, CA Eastlake 5'9" 161 3 stars--Boise State
Ismael Aurismond DE Hialeah, FL Hialeah 6'3" 230 2 stars--WKU

Aaron Baltazar is a 5-9, 161 pound running back out of Chula Vista, California that chose Boise State over offers from Cincinnati, San Diego State, UCLA, and Washington. Baltazar is timed at 4.61 in the 40 yard dash and has a vertical of 28 inches. Baltazar is a 3-star recruit according to the Rivals website and is the #38 running back in the nation. Baltazar is the #31 ranked player in the state of California.

Ismael Aurismond is a 6-3, 230 pound defensive end out of Hialeah, Florida who chose WKU over offers from Florida International, Howard, Kansas, South Alabama, Tennessee State and Western Michigan. Aurismond is a 2-star recruit according to the Rivals website and could be a very good player in the Sun Belt for the Hilltoppers after a year or two of grooming.

9/9/12:
Tim McVey RB Cleveland, OH St. Ignatius 5'9" 180--Buffalo
Kelsey Douglas DB Missouri City, TX Hightower 5'11" 175 2 stars--Louisiana Tech

Tim McVey is a 5-9, 180 pound running back out of Cleveland, Ohio who chose to commit to Buffalo despite interest from Kent State, Ohio and Toledo. McVey is unranked according to the Rivals website but seems to be one of the players that may not be the most talented but a very hard worker who will earn playing time at some point during his career with the Bulls.

Kelsey Douglas is a 5-11, 175 pound defensive back out of Missouri City, Texas who chose Louisiana Tech for his college despite an offer from UTEP and interest from Houston, New Mexico and others. Douglas is ranked as a 2-star recruit according to the Rivals website and is the son of former Louisiana Tech player Derrick Douglas.

9/10/12:
Joe Occhipinti K Nashville, TN Hillsboro 6'3" 190--WKU

Joe Occhipinti is a 6-3, 190 pound kicker out of Nashville, Tennessee who chose Western Kentucky for his commitment despite interest from Vanderbilt. Occhipinti is unranked according to the Rivals website but has shown range into the low 50s during his senior season at Hillsboro High School in Nashville.

9/11/12:
Mike Myers DT Goose Creek, SC Goose Creek 6'2" 275--East Carolina

Mike Myers is a 6-2, 275 pound defensive tackle out of Goose Creek, South Carolina who chose East Carolina despite offers from Charlotte and North Carolina and interest from Clemson, South Carolina, and Virginia Tech. Myers is timed a 4.75 in the 40 yard dash and is a solid defensive line recruit for the Pirates. Myers is unranked according to the Rivals website but should be at least a 2-star by the end of the season.

9/12/12:
Daniel Stephens OL Duluth, GA Peachtree Ridge 6'2" 286--MTSU

Daniel Stephens is a 6-2, 286 pound offensive guard out of Duluth, Georgia who chose Middle Tennessee State University over an offer from Liberty University. Stephens is unranked according to the Rivals website but looks like a raw player that will have the ability to earn a starting spot by his junior season with some seasoning from the coaching staff in Murfreesboro.
