Week 3 Top 10




1. Brigham Young (2-0)--The BYU Cougars cruised to another easy win with a 45-13 win over FCS opponent Weber State. The Cougars have given up 9.5 points per game in the opening two games of the season and are ranked #25 nationally. Previous: Defeated Weber State 45-13, Next: @Utah.

2. Ohio (2-0, 0-0)--After being up only 21-14 at the half, the Bobcats rolled to 32 second half points in beating New Mexico State 31-10 in the 52-24 win Saturday. Previous: Defeated New Mexico State 54-24, Next: @Marshall.

3. Louisiana Tech (1-0, 0-0)--The Louisiana Tech Bulldogs got off to a wild start in the season opener winning 56-49 over the Houston Cougars behind 598 yards of total offense. Quarterback Colby Cameron threw for 353 yards and three touchdowns in the opening win. Previous: Defeated Houston 56-49, Next: Rice.

4. Boise State (0-1, 0-0)--Bye week. Previous: Lost to Michigan State 17-13, Next: Miami OH.

5. Arkansas State (1-1, 0-0)--Arkansas State struggled for three quarters before finally taking their first lead of the game with 6:31 left in the game defeating Memphis 33-28 in the Red Wolves home opener. Previous: Defeated Memphis 33-28, Next: @Nebraska.

6. Southern Miss (0-1, 0-0)--Bye week. Previous: Lost to Nebraska 49-20, Next: East Carolina.

7. Toledo (1-1, 0-0)--Despite another rough outing for the Rocket defense, Toledo pulled out a 34-31 win over Wyoming on the road in week 2. Quarterback Terrance Owens has thrown for 434 yards and 5 touchdowns on the season. Previous: Defeated Wyoming 34-31, Next: Bowling Green.

8. Nevada (1-1, 0-0)--The Nevada Wolfpack fell to South Florida in losing a double digit lead in the first half. The Wolfpack are averaging 249 yards rushing in the opening two games of the season. Previous: Lost 32-31 to South Florida, Next: Northwestern State.

9. Tulsa (1-1, 0-0)--Tulsa rolled to an easy 45-10 victory over Conference USA rival Tulane at home on Saturday. Cody Greene threw for 274 yards and 2 touchdowns on the day while rolling to 651 yards of total offense and 364 yards rushing. Previous: Defeated Tulane 45-10, Next: Nicholls State.

10. Northern Illinois (1-0, 0-0)--A week after losing in the last minute to Iowa at Soldier Field, the Northern Illinois Huskies rolled to an easy 35-7 win over FCS opponent UT Martin. Quarterback Jordan Lynch has passed for 268 yards and ran for 179 yards on the season. Previous: Defeated UT Martin 35-7, Next: @Army.
