After a brutal first season in the FBS, UMass faces a very difficule schedule with trips to Wisconsin and Kansas State while hosting Vanderbilt and FCS foe Maine. The Minutemen face 4 conference teams that were in bowl games in 2012 with a home game versus Northern Illinois and road trips to Bowling Green, Central Michigan and Ohio. Overall, the Minutemen face 7 teams that made bowl games in 2012 including the different BCS teams from last fall.
