After a year in the now dissolved WAC, the Texas State Bobcats have a fairly easy non-conference slate with only a pesky game versus Texas A&M being in the way. The Bobcats also face Southern Miss, Prairie View A&M, Wyoming, and Idaho in non-conference games. In conference play, the Bobcats face four bowl teams from 2012 with all being home games except for a trip to 2-time defending Sun Belt champs Arkansas State. Overall, the Bobcats play five bowl teams from 2012.
