The Falcons are heading into national signing day with the 104th ranked recruiting class in the nation according to 247 sports, putting them 7th in the MAC rankings. BGSU has pulled in a solid 21 players for the 2015 class with a combined 16 of those players coming from either Ohio or Florida. Maryland, Wisconsin and Illinois make up the final five recruits of the class. Only three of the 21 recruits are ranked 3-stars making this a more unheralded class than others but still full of talent.

BGSU is coming off of a solid 8-5 season that saw them defeat Sun Belt foe South Alabama in the Cameilla Bowl, 33-28. The Falcons went 5-4 in conference play with an appearance in the MAC title game. Defense was an issue in 2014 as the Falcons gave up 33 points per game, three more than they scored per game. A negative point differential is usually a cause for concern but the Falcons still pulled out eight wins last fall.
