Northern Illinois versus Central Michigan Preview

Northern Illinois at Central Michigan—After poor performances in big games versus Kansas and Wisconsin, the Huskies are looking to assert their yearly dominance over the MAC with a win over Central Michigan. The offense is putting up over 400 yards per game and 36.3 points per game putting them as one of the best offenses in the country. The defense is the weak point with a 37.5 points per game allowed in 2011. Central Michigan is 1-3 with losses to Kentucky, Western Michigan, and Michigan State. The Chippewas need a strong performance this week to have a chance at a bowl in 2011. Getting outscored by nearly 17 and only getting 86 yards per game on the ground will make it tough for the Chippewas to make it a game. Northern Illinois 37-21.
