New Mexico versus Nevada Preview
4:05 PM ET New Mexico at Nevada –New Mexico (0-5, 0-1) has played two games down to the wire before losing in the end (Colorado State and Sam Houston State). The Lobos are getting outscored worse than any team in the country with a -33.2 points per game averages. The Lobos have lost 52-3, 59-13, and 42-28 in 3 of the 5 losses. Nevada has struggled after losing quarterback Colin Kaepernick to the NFL after last season. The offense was finally able to get back on track last week with a 37-0 win over UNLV. Senior quarterback Tyler Lantrip had his best performance of the season versus UNLV with 366 yards passing and 3 touchdowns in the win. The rushing offense has 3 players with 100 yard rushing games on the season. Nevada should take care of New Mexico in the same manner that they dispatched UNLV last week.
