North Texas versus Louisiana Lafayette Preview
5:00 PM ET North Texas at Louisiana-Lafayette—North Texas (2-4, 1-1) is coming into this game after a home win versus Florida Atlantic. The Mean Green are struggling on offense with star running back Lance Dunbar only having 480 yards on 146 carries. He has 3 straight 100 yard games but only a 3.8 yards per carry average in those games. Louisiana Lafayette (5-1, 3-0) is the talk of the Sun Belt after surpassing last season’s win total and tying the conference win total of 2010. The Ragin’ Cajuns are not doing it pretty but finding ways to win games with the overall team performance. Lafayette has 6 defensive/special teams touchdowns on the season with 5 via interceptions returned for touchdowns. This defense for Lafayette has been dynamic all season and if North Texas can avoid the turnover and just take what the defense gives, they could pull the upset.
