BYU, a brief look

BYU (10-3)--A 10-win season and another bowl victory would seem to be cause for celebration for many teams but not BYU. While the Cougars looked much better as the season progressed, the beginning in which they did not reach 20 points in their first three games put them in an immediate hole. After a 5-game winning streak, the Cougars had a chance to make national noise but failed to do so in losing again to nemesis TCU. The offense struggled under 2010 returning starter Jake Heaps and once the job was given to Riley Nelson, the offense scored at least 24 points per game. With a recruiting class that included 3 four star players and a young group of players that are steeping up for major roles, things are very exciting for BYU coming into 2012.
