Tulane, a brief outlook
Tulane (2-11, 1-7)--Tulane is very happy to put 2011 in the rear view mirror after a disastrous 2-11 campaign that was an unusual 13 games due to a trip to Hawaii to end the season. The Green Wave had one of the worst point differential in 2011 being outscored on average by 16 points. The defense gave up over 30 point in all but 2 of their games last season. The only positive for the Green Wave was the solid if unspectacular play of running back Orleans Darkwa who was named 2nd team all-Conference USA. Things just got much worse with the dismissal of cornerback Jordan Sullen who started 11 games in 2011. Expect some growing pains but it will be difficult to be worse than they were in 2011.
