Tulsa, a brief look

Tulsa (8-5, 7-1)--Things started rough for the Golden Hurricanes in 2011 with the preseason player dismissals and a 1-3 start to the season. On the positive side, those three losses were all to top 10 teams (Oklahoma, Boise State, and Oklahoma State). Tulsa got things on track in conference play and only lost to top 10 Houston giving them 4 losses to top 10 teams in 2011. The only really disappointing loss of the season was in the bowl game to BYU, a team that Tulsa thought they should have handled with relative ease. The Golden Hurricanes have a very talented quarterback eligible in 2012 in Nebraska transfer Cody Green who should come in and start immediately. There are high hopes for Tulsa in 2012 and anything less than a conference title this year would be a disappointment.
