PM Middle Tennessee at Georgia Tech:
This is a matchup between MTSU of the Sun
Belt and Georgia Tech of the ACC. The MTSU Blue Raiders enter this game at 2-1
although their schedule is one of the worst in the nation after 3 games. MTSU
has put up 420 yards per game of total offense and has outscored opponents by 9
points per game. The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets are entering this game at 2-2
behind one of the best rushing attacks in the nation. The Yellow Jackets rush
for 352 yards per game and put up 42 points per game. Georgia Tech is pretty
good on defense but allow just over 21 points per game inflated by a horrible
performance versus Miami. This is the third overall meeting between the two
schools with Georgia Tech winning the previous two meetings by an average of 28
points. With only a week to study for a difficult triple option offense and a
hard hitting defense, the MTSU Blue Raiders are outmatched by Georgia Tech. The
Blue Raiders may hang in there for a half but do not have the athletes to
compete with Georgia Tech for all four quarters. Georgia Tech 45-21.
