MONROE -- ULM has reached an agreement with Wake Forest for a
home-and-home series and the two schools will meet in Winston-Salem, N.C. on
Sept. 14.
Wake Forest will make the
return trip to Monroe in 2014 and the matchup between the Warhawks and the
Demon Deacons will serve as the home opener for ULM.
“I think with the success
of the Baylor game this past season, it is significant that we are able to bring
quality teams to Malone Stadium,” said head football coach Todd Berry. “Coach
Jim Grobe has done an incredible job at Wake Forest and he puts a great team on
the field each year. They have been a factor in the ACC for several years and
they have had some tremendous seasons. We are very excited about playing
against a great team.”
