Playing a non-conference slate much easier than in 2012, Louisiana Tech could easily go 4-0 out of conference with an opening day win at NC State. The Bulldogs host Lamar, travel to Kansas, and face Army in Dallas, Texas in an easy (on paper) non-conference schedule. The Bulldogs face only two in-conference teams that made it to bowl games in 2012 with a November 16th matchup at Rice and a home game the following week versus Tulsa. The Tulsa game could be huge for both teams so late in the season.
