In the second year under coach Bob Davie, the New Mexico Lobos have a somewhat light non-conference schedule with only one non-conference team making a bowl game in 2012. The Lobos face 6 total bowl teams from 2012 with home games versus Air Force and Utah State while traveling to Pittsburgh, Boise State, Fresno State, and San Diego State. With such a tough MWC schedule and conference in general, the Lobos must pull some upsets to make a bowl in 2013.
