While still incomplete, the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers schedule is slightly easier than many teams due to the underperforming of two SEC schools. The Hilltoppers face SEC rivals Kentucky and Tennessee in back-to-back weeks to start the season with a trip to West Point to face Army and a home game versus Navy later in the year. The Hilltoppers still have yet to announce a 5th non-conference game although all signs point toward the FCS route. In conference, the Hilltoppers face three bowl teams from 2012 with two of the three games at home. Overall, the Hilltoppers face 4 bowl teams from 2012 this fall. If WKU can find a way to go at least 1-1 to start the season,  they could be in store for a very good season.
