The two time defending Sun Belt champions had a solid, of somewhat weak, non-conference schedule set up for the 2013 season but were forced to add another game and were able to secure a home and home series with the SEC's Missouri. That game gives Arkansas State two games versus SEC opponents along with matchups versus Memphis of the Big East, FBS independent Idaho, and the FCS' Arkansas-Pine Bluff. The Red Wolves only have 7 conference games and face three opponents that went bowling in 2012. Overall, those three conference foes are the only teams that Arkansas State will face that made a bowl game last fall. *The Georgia State game has not been officially noted as home or away.*
