The Cowboys head into the final weeks of recruiting with the 101st ranked recruiting class in the nation, ranking them 5th in the Mountain West Conference. Wyoming pulled in players from eight different states with no more than three commits coming from any single state. The Cowboys currently have 16 commits with 6 of those earning a 3-star rating from 247 sports.

Despite starting the 2014 season with a 3-1 mark and their only loss coming to national runners-up Oregon, Wyoming proceeded to lose 7 of their final 8 games in falling to a 4-8 record last fall. Only two of those final 7 losses came by fewer than 10 points with a surprising blowout win over MWC runners-up Fresno State during that slide. The Cowboys look to rebound from this disappointing season and find their way back to a bowl in 2015.

Returning Starters (6 or more starts in 2014):
Offense (7):
Jake Jones (7 starts, OL), Rafe Kiely (12 starts, OL), Ryan Cummings (7 starts, OL), Jacob Hollister (7 starts, 17 catches, 244 yards, 2 TD, TE), Chase Roullier (12 starts, OL), Shaun Wick (8 starts, 10 catches, 62 yards, 753 rushing, 6 TD, RB), Drew Van Maanen (7 starts, 2 catches, 25 yareds, FB),

Defense (4):
Uso Olive (11 starts, 20 tkl, 2 tfl, DL), Tim Kamana (8 starts, 44 tkl, 1 INT, 2 pbu, DB), Robert Priester (7 starts, 39 tkl, 2 pbu, 1 fr, 2 ff, DB), Eddie Yarbrough (12 starts, 63 tkl, 10.5 tfl, 4 sacks, 1 fr, 1 ff, 1st team All-MWC, DL)
