The 2 bowl tie-ins are a showing of the conference's weak rating in division 1. Normally, there will be a 3rd team making a bowl game of some sorts due to other conferences not having enough eligible teams i.e. FIU in the Little Ceasars bowl. Time will tell if the conference can get a 3rd guaranteed bowl bid.
