Overall Breakdown: Utah State was about as up and down for a 4-8 team as one could be. They lost games in spectacularly horrible fashion such as a 24-6 loss to Louisiana Tech and a 28-6 loss to Idaho. They also beat 2010 bowl team BYU by 15 points and had a chance very late in the game to beat Oklahoma. The defense must make some stands in 2011 for the Aggies to have a chance at a bowl game which is a reasonable request this fall. Auburn has nowhere to go but down after a perfect season and a national championship. The loss of the Heisman trophy winning quarterback as well as one of the best defensive tackles in college football should make the win total fall significantly. Overall, Auburn should pull out this home opener but it may prove to be harder than many people think similar to Oklahoma last season.
