Western Michigan, a brief look

Western Michigan University (7-6, 5-3)--The Broncos had a very successful 2011 season with a winning record and bowl berth. Led by upcoming Senior Alex Carder’s 3,873 yards passing and 31 touchdowns, 2011 was one of the better season for WMU in years. Carder had over 7200 yards passing and 61 touchdowns in his career for the Broncos. 4 of WMU’s 5 losses were to bowl teams with the other coming to 6-6 EMU. The Broncos ranked in the top 20 nationally in passing offense and scoring offense but struggled in the running game only averaging just over 120 yards per game. With some very talented playmakers coming in this fall as well as one more year in the system, WMU should go bowling again in 2012
