The Rice Owls have an interesting 2013 schedule with 8 home games including non-conference games versus Kansas and Houston with trips to Texas A&M and New Mexico State. The Owls were a bowl team in 2012 and need a good start to the season to make it to another bowl in 2013. The Owls only have 3 total opponents that were bowl eligible in 2012. With three of their first four games at home, the Owls could be 3-1 with a huge trip to Tulsa on October 5th. Everything fits for a very good 2013 season for the Owls.
