Overall Breakdown: The Knights of Central Florida have looked every part the non big 6 team to make a big move in 2011. They have given up an average of 1.5 points while scoring 46 per game with a whopping +44.5 scoring average which is best in the country. The offense is averaging nearly 500 yards per game with the rushing attack putting up 275 yards per game. With a big trip to BYU on the 23rd coming up, the Knights must not look past FIU in a huge south central Florida matchup. Florida International has taken care of business in weeks one and two with all everything T.Y. Hilton playing like an All-American having a career-high 201 yards receiving in the upset win versus Louisville. The offense is putting up almost 350 yards per game with the passing game getting 220 of that. The running game must raise its play versus a UCF defense that has been extremely stingy so far in 2011. T.Y. Hilton versus the very talented UCF defensive backfield is the key matchup that could decide this game. Overall, this is a trap game but also a rivalry game that UCF will not be looking past. UCF 31-17
This is one of the games I am really looking forward to this week. I think it will be an exciting game and fun to watch the UCF DBs take on Hilton.
